Moose re-assign McVicar

The Manitoba Moose have re-assigned goaltender Rob McVicar to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

Not surprising. With Alex Auld returning to Manitoba because of the lockout, and with the signing of veteran Wade Flaherty there was simply no room for McVicar.

In his first year as a professional McVicar had a good year, splitting time between Columbia(17gp 10-4-2 2.67gaa .898sv%) and Manitoba(10gp 4-3-2 2.67gaa .905sv%).

The former Brandon Wheat King was Vancouver’s fifth choice, 151st overall, in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
