Jason King Named Player of the Week

Jason King was named AHL player of the week. King had 7 goals and 2 assists in only 4 games. Here is a story on Jason King from the Winnipeg Free Press.

Other news

The AHL voted to expand the roster size from 17 skaters, to 18. The Moose voted against the roster expansions because the number of veterans allowed to dress was not increased. The AHL could be doing a lot more to capitalize on the lockout, allowing more veterans would have been a good decision IMO.

The game recap from Saturday's victory over Cleveland is now available.

The Canuck's 2004 first round pick Cory Schneider, won his first career start for Boston College.
